🐾3 Week Puppy Update

Our puppies are officially 3 weeks old, and this is where things start getting really fun 🥹

🐶 Eyes Open, Wobbly Steps & So Much Change

Their eyes are open now, and they’re starting to actually see what’s going on around them & eye contact. They’re way more alert and aware — not just sleepy little newborns anymore.

They’re also hearing more, so they’re starting to respond to voices and everyday sounds around the house.

And the best part…

they are officially walking (very wobbly 😄)

You’ll start to see:

– little tail wags

– clumsy exploring

– their first attempts at play

It’s messy and adorable and one of my favorite stages. I wish it lasted longer!

🍼 Growing, Nursing & Getting Stronger

Mom is still doing an amazing job, and they’re still nursing right now.

They’re growing fast, getting stronger every day, and really starting to fill out. We’ll be introducing puppy mush (food) soon, but for now mom is still doing most of the work.

Also — I’ve been a little quiet on posting the day-to-day lately. Puppy mom life has been busy, and most of my time has been spent with them!!

But I wanted to share what’s been going on behind the scenes!

 ✨What We’ve Been Up To-

Even though I haven’t posted every step, we follow  the Badass Breeder program from day one — which means a lot of intentional early work goes into these puppies right away.

In the first 3 weeks, we’ve been doing:

– Early neurological stimulation (ENS)

– Early scent introduction (ESI) to help develop their noses and confidence

– Daily handling exercises and holding

– Gentle exposure to normal household sounds

– Keeping their environment clean, safe, and low-stress

these little things make a huge difference in how puppies develop.

💛 Socialization Starts Early

At this stage, we’re continuing:

– daily handling

– gentle new experiences

– lots of love and attention

-sound exposure

-enrichment items in their area

-graduated from whelping box!!

This is what helps them grow into confident, well-adjusted family dogs — which is always the goal.

📅 Puppy Pick Day

Saturday, April 11th is Puppy Pick Day! 🐾

This is the day families will be able to choose their puppy in order of deposits. Just to clarify — this is not go-home day.
