If you are looking for a reputable breeder that genuinely cares about her puppies and dogs, look no further, you have found her. When we first decided we wanted to add a puppy to our family, I did a lot of research on how to find a high quality breeder and family dog. I consistently read about the importance of early socialization and puppies being with their mom until they are at least 8 weeks old because they learn so much from her even after they are weaned. I found it surprisingly challenging to find a doodle breeder that kept Mom with her puppies past 5-6 weeks of age. At Kennel in the Pines, the puppies are with their mom until they are ready to go home, and experience an incredible amount of positive care, handling, and training from birth. The amount of time, energy, and resources Steph puts into her puppies really shows.
When we adopted our Bernedoodle, the transition into his new home was incredibly smooth. Potty and crate training took almost no effort at all. From the day we brought him home, he already knew how to sit and whimpered when he needed to go out to potty. He is smart and has a wonderfully calm and gentle temperament, just like his Mama Juneau. He’s great around kids, adults, and cats and everyone immediately falls in love with him. Steph truly gives her puppies the best start possible to help them in their forever homes.
Not only is she easy to work with, she’s quick to respond to emails, calls, and texts and shares frequent photo and video updates. I highly recommend Kennel in the Pines and would give many more stars if I could. We are so grateful that we found Kennel in the Pines!
