Yesterday was the pups’ vaccinations and vet appointment! Everyone is doing fantastic! I will share a few photos from the vet visit and bath time.

7 weeks old! Getting the zoomies out.. they LOVE the back yard.
Today is sirens & sounds of the city 😜
We will be 6 weeks old this week!!! We are growing so fast, this litter is so balanced and very fast learners.. this is a critical stage for socialization— they need to be exposed to a range of people, places, and experiences to develop a well-adjusted personality—6-week-old pups are very playful!! They are actively learning social skills from their littermates, growing more independent from mama, and still need a lot of sleep and may be a bit clingy when separated from their siblings.
This week we really work hard with kennel training. Pups are already used to sleeping in the kennels with doors open, and this is their night time safe place… no potties in open door kennels at night for over a week 👌🏼🤩🥳 ..we start shutting kennel door for short periods of time with lots of love and rewards when they come back out 🥰
When puppies reach five weeks old, they move into another phase of curriculum .. during this time we conduct new exposure activities:
toys, balls, blocks, rings, 🧸 ⚽️
tactile boards, uneven & spikes boards, 💦
tunnels, water exposure, playing 🐕 with other dogs)
We spend a lot of time holding and handling them & letting them fall asleep in our arms feeling safe and secure🤎.. at this age Puppies learn to work and problem solve, we get creative start having them walk on grass, snow, pavers, experiencing new things each day! Everyone is pudgy and healthy 🥰 eating puppy mush 3 times per day.. mama is still feeding several times per day and during the night but slowly starting to wean.
